Frequently asked questions:
Why D&L Dance Studio?
D&L Dance Studio offers a wide variety of classes for all ages and skill levels, including specialized adaptive dance options and adult classes, within a welcoming, supportive environment that emphasizes both technical skill-building and creative self-expression.
How can I enroll?
Enroll online via our Studio Pro parent portal—just create an account and follow the step‑by‑step prompts. Prefer in person? Stop by the front desk, complete a waiver, and we’ll take care of the rest. Whichever option you choose, we’re here to make enrollment quick and easy.
Can I drop into classes?
You may drop into any adult fitness class only for $15 per session. Monthly packages are more economical, and through June 2026 we’re offering a special: $99/month for unlimited weekly classes (which works out to roughly $3 per class if you do the math).
Prospective dancers are welcome to trial classes to determine fit. After the trial period, enrollment is required: our curriculum builds skills week-to-week and we prepare for an annual recital, so consistent participation is essential for each student’s progress and for the group as a whole.
How do I submit payments?
Tuition is billed monthly. Payment options:
Cash or check (payable to D&L Dance Studio): payment must be received on or before the first day of the upcoming month.
Debit/credit card: we will charge the card on file unless you notify us of a different card to use.
Parent portal: families may submit payments in advance through the parent portal.
A $50 late fee will be applied to any account not paid by the due date. A receipt email is sent on the first of each month.
At what age can my child enroll?
Enrollment is open to dancers ages 3 and up. We offer a wide range of classes across all levels—recreational, competitive, and intermediate—covering diverse dance styles to meet each student’s needs. Adult classes are also available, including fitness-focused sessions and programs for returning dancers who wish to reconnect with their training.
What is class attire?
Ballet & Technique: Dancers should wear stirrup tights, ballet shoes, a bodysuit, and have hair secured in a bun. Color choices for bodysuits and tights are flexible except for the recital, when suntan tights are required; costumes for the recital will be provided.
Acro: Fitted attire is required (e.g., fitted shorts and a fitted top; a bodysuit is recommended). For safety, no jewelry is permitted. Footed tights are not allowed.
Tap: Fitted pants and black tap shoes are required.
Adult Heels: We recommend beginning with a 1–3 inch heel that provides good ankle support and stability. Shoes with laces or secure straps are preferred; slip-on heels or pumps are not recommended.
All Other Classes: Please wear comfortable, appropriate athletic attire.
